David was once the tenured musical professor simultaniously  heading up Keble College (Ox), King's College (Camb), Royal Northern College, and Royal College (London), whilst guesting at a Swiss Conservatoire.

He's since given other people a chance, and is only resident in Oxford for tax purposes

John has been striving for average at music since 1822.  Maybe one day, he'll figure out which way up to hold a guitar...
